Trojský zámek is located in our capital city, specifically in the Troja district, which lies on the right bank of the Vltava river. This Baroque pearl was built between 1679 and 1691 and represents one of the most significant examples of Baroque architecture in the Czech Republic. After the Second World War, the chateau was nationalised and became state property. Currently, it is managed by the Galerie hlavního města Prahy and is accessible to the public as a museum.
