When industrial architecture tells zen – Kotěra’s Water Tower in Třeboň
Imagine an elegant tower of exposed brick, which from a small hill above the town transforms its original practical purpose into an artistic experience. Kotěra’s water tower was built in 1909 to the design of the famous architect Jan Kotěra as part of the town’s new water supply system. Today it is a valuable cultural monument, housing the Gallery of Buddhist Art inside.
