Museum of Broumov Region – stories of the land inside the monastery

The Museum of Broumov Region is located on the 1st floor of the abbey wing of the Broumov Monastery, where since 1980 it has been turning historic spaces into a treasury of history. • Six halls in the representative part of the prelature with fresco decorations capture periods from Gothic through Renaissance and Baroque to the industrial 19th century and the dramatic 20th century
  • In the Stone Hall, art, history, and typical artifacts meet: weapons, nativity scenes, shooting targets, folk costumes, and objects of folk and bourgeois culture of the region
  • Regular exhibitions such as “Times of Great Change” provide a fresh look at the history of the second half of the 20th century
