The mountain resort of Strážné lies right in the heart of the Giant Mountains (Krkonoše), 6 km from Vrchlabí (towards Špindlerův Mlýn), at an altitude of 800 meters above sea level. It offers visitors a wide range of interesting activities during the summer season. It serves as an ideal starting point for hiking and cycling trips. Team sports enthusiasts will find a small-sided football pitch and outdoor tennis courts. For the entertainment of the youngest visitors, a lovely playground featuring climbing frames, a slide, swings, and other attractions is available in the village center. Nearby, there is a smooth asphalt area suitable for scootering and inline skating. A variety of restaurants and refreshment stands are ready to cool you down on hot summer days. The Nisanka cottage is located in the center of Bedřichov, in a touristically attractive and frequently visited area. Not far from the cottage is the Bedřichov Ski Resort with downhill slopes and access to the Jizerská magistrála cross-country trails.
