Termální koupaliště Brná
Termální koupaliště Brná is a unique summer swimming pool in Northern Bohemia on the outskirts of Ústí nad Labem, in the centre of the entire Ústecký kraj region. Until recently, it was possible to reach the Brná swimming pool by boat, as it is built on the Labe river in the Porta Bohemica valley. Furthermore, the pools here are filled with water from thermal springs with a temperature of 30 °C, making swimming very pleasant from late spring to early autumn.
The history of the Termální koupaliště Brná dates back to 1930, when the first source of thermal water was drilled. Just a year later, a thermal swimming pool was built on this site, and six years later, bathtub baths were established here. Further boreholes were excavated for the needs of the swimming pool in 1968 and 2003. Today, the thermal springs are used only for bathing, although in the past, the water was also bottled for drinking cures.
When visiting the Termální koupaliště Brná, visitors have a choice of several pools. For adults, there are two recreational pools, one of which features a huge water slide, as well as a swimming pool, and a children's pool with a water spout is intended for children. When visitors have had enough of water fun, dry attractions can be utilised. Children can be entertained at the playground with climbing frames and swings, while adults can play ping-pong, table football, or use the beach library and relax in the sun. If visitors enjoy collecting photos from interesting places, a photo point is installed at the Brná swimming pool, which is a place where one can take a photo by pressing a button and later pick up the photo on the operator's website, have it sent to an e-mail address, or share it on social networks.
The Termální koupaliště Brná is barrier-free, and families with small children are also catered for. In the facilities, there is not only a changing table available but also a place to heat up baby food without any problems. Stalls with refreshments and basic water supplies can also be found here. Therefore, if sunscreen or sunglasses or diving goggles were left at home, they can be purchased here.
The Brná swimming pool is perfectly accessible to everyone. In addition to a car, which can be parked directly at the swimming pool complex, it is also easy to reach by public transport, which has a stop a short distance from the pool, and even more interestingly – it is possible to rent a city bike, which can also be returned here. Well, what do you think? Planning a trip already?

However, accommodation in the centre of Ústí also has its advantages, from where it is easy to reach the swimming pool within a few minutes. If a greater distance is not an issue and escaping the city bustle is preferred, try accommodation in Chudoslavice or Velemín.
