Ski Karlov

Malá Morávka

Another of the significant ski centers in the Jeseníky is Ski Aréna Karlov. It is located near Malá Morávka, a local part of Karlov pod Pradědem. Visitors will find the longest illuminated ski area in Moravia here, with a total length of 5,300 meters. The ski resort lies at an altitude of 650 - 950 m a. s. l., and thanks to the long winter, ideal conditions for winter sports prevail here.

And what else can Ski Karlov boast about? There are 14 ski slopes, 4 chairlifts, and free parking. In addition, ski lifts are also available. Beginners and children can also learn to ski here. Experienced instructors in the ski school will take care of that. A children's corner with trained staff is also located near the lower station of the chairlift. Visitors can leave their children here for safekeeping and enjoy undisturbed winter pleasures.

Cross-country skiing enthusiasts will not be disappointed in Ski Karlov either. Over 80 kilometres of marked trails will test visitors' physical condition. Visitors will thus discover the beauties of the Jeseníky and do something for their health at the same time. Snowtubing, which visitors will find near the Myšák chairlift, is also very popular here. Visitors can thus compare their strength on the timed slalom or conquer two skicross tracks.

Refreshments are also taken care of for visitors in the Ski Karlov area. Visitors can utilize the restaurant to replenish energy or enjoy panoramic views from the U ježoura ski bar. Necessary care will also be provided to visitors' skiing equipment at the ski service. And if visitors need to equip themselves further, they can visit the local rental shop. Test skis, which visitors can put through their paces on the popular black certified ski slope called Pařezák, for example, are also available for rent here.

If the winter is weaker in snow showers, quality snowmaking technology helps. It will thus not happen that the resort is out of operation due to insufficient snow conditions. Visitors can thus plan not only a one-day skiing trip, but also a proper holiday in the Jeseníky.

The accommodation offer near Ski Karlov will leave no doubt for visitors that this is one of the most popular Moravian ski centers. Guesthouses, mountain chalets, and top-tier hotels, which often also offer wellness stays, are available to visitors. During the day, visitors can thus tax their bodies on the slope or cross-country trails and then relax and prepare for another day full of experiences.

If visitors wish to get tips on little-known places, private accommodation is recommended. The cordial locals are always happy to share interesting information with visitors, which will certainly be appreciated. So, have visitors chosen?
