The Krkonoše Mountains are the only Czech mountain range to feature a high-alpine character in several areas. They offer rocky ridges, deep valleys, waterfalls, mountain meadows, and crisp mountain air, along with excellent opportunities for hiking and a wide variety of summer activities—not to mention the chance to enjoy groomed downhill slopes and cross-country ski trails in winter. Whether you head to the central, eastern, or western parts of the range, each area holds plenty of surprises in store for you.
