The property is situated in the very heart of the Bohemian Paradise, beneath the ruins of Trosky Castle. A signpost for the Bohemian Paradise "Golden Trail" stands right by the house, and a stop for seasonal tourist buses is located nearby (100 m). The village is home to the Apolena Nature Reserve, a Doll and Teddy Bear Museum, and a Celtic oppidum. Major landmarks of the Bohemian Paradise Protected Landscape Area are within walking distance—approximately 5 km away.

The Nisanka cottage is located in the center of Bedřichov, in a touristically attractive and frequently visited area. Not far from the cottage is the Bedřichov Ski Resort with downhill slopes and access to the Jizerská magistrála cross-country trails.
