We like Pernink because it is not as crowded as in other mountain resorts, but everything is close by. Whether you come here on your bike, with children and a stroller, or just to relax, you will not be bored. A few places worth seeing: Pernink Viaduct: You will see it right in the village. It is an old stone railway bridge and our mountain train runs over it. It looks great from below. Vlčí jámy and Blatenský vrch: A walk a short distance above Pernink. These are old sunken mines where it is so cold that you can find snow there even in the middle of July. On the hill there is a lookout tower and a kiosk where they make great sausages. Blatenský příkop: A historical water canal protected by UNESCO. Along it there is a long, pleasant path through the forest. It is completely flat, so ideal if you are traveling with a stroller or small children. Plešivec: A hill not far from us. At the top there is a lookout tower, a trail with wooden sculptures for children and especially the Trail Park with mountain bike tracks. Entertainment for children right in the village: We have a large marble run in the Pod Nádražím ski area. Children love it and it will keep them entertained for a while. Where to eat and have a beer? We open our own Bistro Čepice right in our guesthouse on Friday and Saturday evenings. We will cook you dinner, make good coffee or pour you a beer, so you don't have to drive anywhere after the trip and you can go down comfortably in your slippers. During the week we will gladly go for a beer and a classic smažák to the U Kostela restaurant or to the bistro pod Nádražím. We have a guide (e-book) for you. We have written a complete e-book for our guests, where we have put all our favorite routes, tips for natural swimming and hidden places that you won't find on regular maps.
