The technical facilities are complemented by a modern contactless ticketing system, and a lift is also prepared for our youngest skiers.

The dominant feature of the complex is a large pool measuring approximately 50 × 25 metres with a depth of up to 2.8 metres, surrounded by extensive grassy beaches ideal for relaxation and sports games. A great advantage is the water maintained by sand filtration, i.e., without the presence of chlorine, which is particularly appreciated by visitors with sensitive skin. For adrenaline lovers, there is a diving tower with two levels (1.5 m) and a diving board (3 m). The complex also offers a wealth of activities for children, such as carousels or swings, and a sports zone with table tennis, Russian skittles, football tennis, and volleyball. Complete facilities are a matter of course, including the rental of sports equipment, parasols, and sun loungers, changing cabins, and a buffet with a wide selection of drinks, desserts, and ice creams.

If visitors decide to visit Skalní město Adršpach, which is part of the Adršpašsko-teplické skály in Eastern Bohemia, a punt ride on the famous Adršpašské jezírko should certainly not be missed. In past times, the small lake was used for floating felled trees. Once, the first tourists set out onto the lake, and thus the era of small punts began. Water is fed into the lake by the small river Metuje. Two waterfalls were created at the lake's outlet - the Velký Adršpašský vodopád and, 50 metres further downstream, the Malý Adršpašský vodopád.

Visiting the rock city is rather a summer affair, but even if visitors head here in winter, they will not regret it. The surface of the lake freezes, and the ice creates magical patterns. The waterfalls transform into icefalls during the winter and offer a breathtaking spectacle. Rides standardly begin in May, or in April in the event of fine weather. It is best to inquire in advance.

In addition to the boat rides, many other interesting stops await visitors within these sandstone rocks, which form the largest rock city in the Czech Republic. For example, Sloní náměstí, Krakonošova lenoška, or Milenci and Starosta se starostovou. They received their names according to what the individual rocks resemble with their shapes. Visitors are also recommended to view the ruins of Adršpach Castle. Not much of the original castle has been preserved, but the views will certainly captivate them. Right by the entrance gate to the rock city, another body of water is encountered, the Adršpach sand pit, which is certainly familiar from certain Czech films or fairy tales.

A significant natural attraction that can be found near Adršpach in Východní Čechy is certainly the waterfalls on the Metuje river. Visitors will find the Velký Adršpašský vodopád, which is approximately 16 metres high. Just 50 metres away, another waterfall plunges into the rock gorges. Since it is significantly smaller, reaching a height of about 4 metres, it was named the Malý Adršpašský vodopád. It provides a pleasant refreshment on a journey through the Adršpašsko-teplické skály. Above them is also the Adršpašské jezírko, where boat rides are offered.

Visitors can let themselves be carried away by the pleasant babbling of the water from the gazebo built near the signpost of the yellow tourist trail. During the summer months, the water flow in the river decreases due to the warm weather. For this reason, a sluice gate was installed above the waterfall, which can increase its flow at the request of visitors. But beware, it is not quite that simple. Visitors must know the magic spell, or rather shout the secret password Krakonoš.

However, visitors certainly will not set out to this place just for the Malý Adršpašský vodopád. It is strongly recommended to walk through the entire Adršpach rock town and admire the diverse sandstone formations that received their names from objects, people, or animals they resemble. Thus, visitors can see, for example, Milenec, Starosta a starostová, Krakonošova lenoška, and Sloní náměstí. The ruin of hrad Adršpach is also a magical place offering a wonderful view of the surrounding rocks and forests.

The Adršpašsko-teplické skály are a frequently visited place due to their magnificent scenery, popular among tourists from both the Czech Republic and abroad. The accommodation offer therefore had to be adapted to the high attractiveness of this area. As the lake is located in a protected area and features undercurrents, swimming is strictly prohibited.

On the shores of the lake, you can take a walk along a 1.5 km long sightseeing circuit, marked with blue colour. During the approximately 40-minute walk, you will find several viewpoints. Thanks to its attractiveness, the adršpašská pískovna has also appeared in Czech film fairy tales, for example, Z pekla štěstí 2 and Třetí princ.

From the sandpit, you can continue to explore the rock city along the green marked trail. Take a walk around the rocks that resemble a sugar loaf or a pitcher, discover Eliška, Starosta a starostová, and Milenci, and do not miss Sloní náměstí. When you turn from the green trail onto the yellow one, which is more demandig. You will reach the picturesque Adršpašské jezírko. On the way there, you will also pass stairs that were constructed as early as 1843. You cannot swim in this lake either, but during the summer season, you can enjoy it not only from the shore but also from a boat with witty commentary.

And what if your head starts spinning from all those rocks? You can visit zámek Adršpach. Although one of its exhibitions is dedicated to rock and high-altitude climbing, you will also find exhibitions on flax processing and weaving, as well as a historical exhibition. In the surroundings of Adršpach, you will also find several lookout towers, for example, Čáp and Žaltman. You will also have a good view if you climb one of the local rock castles: Adršpach, Střmen, or Skály.

This exceptional wooden belfry stands in the cemetery next to the Church of St. John the Baptist. It was probably built between 1592–1594, according to dendrochronology, and belongs among the oldest and technically most unique belfries of its kind in the Czech Republic and Europe.

In Trutnov, this is represented by the Krakonošova kašna (Krakonoš Fountain), which, among other things, points to the proximity of our largest mountain range, the Krkonoše. Originally, until 1605, only a smaller wooden fountain stood here, which was subsequently replaced by a new one. A dragon made of white sandstone stood out on it, and for this reason, it was called the Dračí studna (Dragon Well). In 1892, it was replaced by the Krakonošova kašna.

The author of the design was a professor at the Trutnov secondary technical school, J. Kirschner. The fountain consists of a granite basin and a sandstone core. And, of course, there is also a metal sculpture of the mountain guardian, Krakonoš. Interestingly, a tin box containing documentary information about this structure was placed in the central part of the well.

The original statue of Krakonoš was manufactured at the A. Castner art foundry in Berlin. However, as it was already considerably damaged by age and weather conditions over time, it was replaced in 2001 by a bronze replica from the workshop of J. Janeček from Vamberk. Since 2015, Krakonoš has been joined by four dwarf companions, so-called gnomes. Their creator is the Trutnov native P. Skavová.

The Krakonošova studna (Krakonoš Well) is a wonderful place for relaxation. Visitors are invited to stop here during their wanderings through Trutnov and soak up the atmosphere. The surrounding picturesque historical houses and their arcades will also provide shelter in case of wind or rain.
